Jordan Chiles’ Show Stopping Exit on Dancing with the Stars
Jordan Chiles brought Normani to the DWTS stage on November 25, 2025 for a finale performance going down in the history books.
When American Olympian Jordan Chiles and pro partner Ezra Sosa stepped into the finale of Dancing with the Stars Season 34, they did not come to play around.
The finale featured three dance rounds: a judges’-choice paso doble, an instant dance, and a freestyle.

Jordan and Ezra opened with a paso doble to “Breakin’ Dishes” by Rihanna, scoring 29/30. Next came the instant dance — a tango to “I Like It” where Chiles and Sosa earned a perfect score (30/30), with judges praising her hold, control, and chemistry with her partner.
But it was the freestyle round that sealed the night. For her closing number, Chiles chose “Bow Down (Homecoming Live)” by Beyoncé and “Motivation” by Normani, and actually brought Normani on stage. The surprise appearance was a real treat, especially seeing as Normani is also a part of the DWTS family having competed in season 24 in 2017. The routine was awarded a perfect 30/30.
“That performance felt so amazing,” Chiles said. “It really shows that I am more than a gymnast, and I have other sides to me. I can be an entertainer, I can be on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ I can do all of these things, so that was just me really showing my full story.” And the verdict from veteran judge Carrie Ann Inaba? “The best freestyle I’ve seen in 20 seasons, hands down!”
By night’s end, Jordan and Ezra had 89/90 points for the evening, a total that landed them in third place overall on Season 34.
For Chiles, dancing wasn’t just about hitting steps and nailing technique. In promotional posts, she expressed deep gratitude to Ezra, calling him “the best partner ever,” and described the journey as transformative: “You have turned me into a ballroom dancer and also helped me tell my story.”

For a former Olympic-level gymnast navigating new territory, third place in such a competitive finale is a statement, and Chiles proved she could hold her own and deliver under pressure.
