Erika de los Santos, an ambitious young woman with a passion for fashion, has made a mark with her brainchild Entre Hilos.

On Sunday, we had the privilege of attending the grand opening of the second Entre Hilos store, located in southeast Merida, and it was nothing short of a celebration of beauty, empowerment, and success.

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Erika was pursuing studies in physiotherapy. Her journey into the world of entrepreneurship began in 2019 when she opened the first Entre Hilos store selling lingerie and underwear.

Although she’s selling what would be considered “sexy” garments, she stands on the fact that “it’s not about seduction, it’s about our femininity” and she is committed to creating a space that ensures that women look and feel beautiful.

Erika has stated, “For me, entrepreneurship has been a process of personal and emotional growth that, without a doubt, has helped me connect and find myself. I am happy to create a space to empower women, transmit my love for fashion, design, creativity, sensuality, photography, and my empathy towards the needs of all of us.”

The grand opening was a huge success. The store was filled with excited shoppers and supporters of Erika’s vision, who were gifted with desserts and discounts by Erika to celebrate. She has worked very hard to make this dream a reality, even having her mom work the flagship location while she worked day and night to construct the new store, new logo included.
