Mecca Clarke is a brand photographer and media entrepreneur who created Blk Girls Shoot to be a transformative event and community designed to empower Black women photographers through education, networking, and business development. Designed to equip women with the tools and connections needed to excel in media, Blk Girls Shoot offers valuable resources for anyone trying to level up their skills, and is bridging the gap in an industry where Black women are often underrepresented.

What to Expect at Blk Girls Shoot 2025
Day 1: Workshop Day
Day 1 focuses on hands-on learning. Participants will dive into:
- Business Development: Learn essential skills like branding, marketing, pricing, and upselling.
- Portfolio Elevation: Engage in guided sessions, practical exercises, and personalized portfolio reviews to take your work to the next level.
- Lighting Demonstrations: Master the art of lighting with expert-led demonstrations to enhance your creative projects.
Day 2: Main Conference Day
Day 2 is all about inspiration and connection. Highlights include:
- Guest Speakers: Hear from guests who will share insights and actionable advice.
