Deinfluenced: A Black History Month Wellness Event by Afro Yoga

In a world where digital influence is constant, how often do we truly disconnect?
This Black History Month, Afro Yoga invites you to Deinfluenced: Analog Wisdom in a Digital World, a donation-based wellness event hosted by Angie Franklin.
Taking place on Sunday, February 9th, from 9 AM – 12 PM PST in Sacramento, California, this experience blends Kemetic and Indian yogic principles to help us reclaim balance, authenticity, and personal power.
Why Attend?
Deinfluenced is designed to refresh our relationship with digital consumption and root us in ancestral wisdom, encouraging reflection on how ancient philosophies can guide us in today’s fast-paced world.
Through intentional movement, meditation, and deep discussion, participants will gain practical tools for more mindful, values-driven living.
